Production support role

Grassland Discs | Saskatoon, SK | Part-Time

Grassland Discs is a Saskatchewan-born disc golf brand building something genuinely new in Canadian disc golf. We design and produce discs rooted in prairie identity, shaped by creativity, and supported by the disc golf community.

As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a hands-on Production Support person to help with day-to-day disc production, order preparation, and general shop support. This is a part-time role that will work directly with the founders and play a real part in helping Grassland Discs scale from a small community-driven business into a stronger Canadian disc golf manufacturer.

About the Role

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, learning new processes, and being part of a growing local company. You do not need previous disc golf or manufacturing experience. What matters most is that you are reliable, careful, willing to learn, and comfortable helping with practical production tasks.

We expect the role to start at approximately 2-3 hours per day, 3 to 5 times a week, with the potential for longer shifts or weekend work depending on production needs, event schedules, and order volume.  As the business grows, there may be opportunities for the role to expand.

Responsibilities

Production Support may include:

  • Helping prepare and finish discs
  • Supporting 3D printing production workflows
  • Cleaning, organizing, and maintaining the production area
  • Assisting with inventory, packaging, and order preparation
  • Helping prepare for events, custom orders, and wholesale shipments
  • Following basic quality control steps
  • Supporting other hands-on tasks as needed

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Reliable and consistent
  • Comfortable with hands-on work
  • Willing to learn new tools, equipment, and processes
  • Detail-oriented and careful with finished products
  • Able to follow instructions and ask questions when needed
  • Interested in being part of a growing local business
  • Positive, practical, and easy to work with

Experience with 3D printing, manufacturing, disc golf, packaging, tools, or shop work is an asset, but not required.

Compensation

This is a part-time hourly position. Compensation will be based on experience, fit, availability, and the responsibilities of the role.

Why Join Grassland Discs?

Grassland Discs is still small, which means this role will have a real impact. You’ll be helping build products that are used by disc golfers, clubs, tournaments, and communities across Canada.

You’ll also get to learn how a growing product-based business works from the inside — from design and production to quality control, packaging, events, and customer orders.

If you’re looking for flexible part-time work and want to be part of a creative, community-driven company, we’d love to hear from you.
